Avail advised Terveystalo on the acquisition of AITO Työterveys

Avail advised Terveystalo on the acquisition of AITO Työterveys. The sale of AITO Työterveys - Vantaan Työterveys Oy to Terveystalo was approved by the Vantaa City Executive Board on 30 November 2021 and the agreement is expected to be signed at the end of December, after the appeal period has ended. The completion of the transaction will be in February 2022. In addition, the agreement includes the provision of occupational health services to the City of Vantaa for 4 years, starting from 1 February 2022.

AITO Työterveys provides the City of Vantaa with occupational health services as well as corporate and seafarers’ health services in Vantaa, Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Kerava. The company employs more than 50 people and offers services in three locations in the capital region. In 2020, AITO Työterveys revenue was approximately EUR 7.5 million. The acquisition expands Terveystalo's offering of occupational health services in the region and brings a number of new customers, especially from the SME sector.
